Chinese Characters – should we gain PASSIVE or ACTIVE skill?

We all sure love Chinese characters.
But Is it really necessary to learn to write them in the digital age?

Wouldn’t it be better to save the energy, time and brain capacity to something a little bit more useful?

This podcast is all about my perspective that I gained as a teacher of Chinese with over 14 years of teaching experience.

Chineseffect is on YouTube and Instagram

How do you like this new format?

There are things I can’t do here because there is no slide option here, so my Instagram is currently much more fun than Tumblr.

Very useful word, for instance when you need to say that you can’t come, because you are planning on participating at another activity.

我不能来,我有别的活动

/Wǒ bùnéng lái, wǒ yǒu bié de huódòng./

I CAN’T COME, I HAVE ANOTHER ACTIVITY.
