China is on the way to make EVERYONE pay by phone ALL THE TIME for EVERYTHING – even for giving a small change to beggars.

I’m worried that China will eventually make paying by cash impossible in some time – because this will give the system new enormous power.

Imagine that you oppose the system. – What does the system do? – It closes your accounts, so you can’t buy even noodles in the street.

I’m also worried that the governments of other countries (especially EU) will try to do the same thing eventually and there won’t be enough people to oppose it, because – after all – paying by cell phone (or by watch) is so convenient.

And YES, it is convenient.

BUT – digital means TRACKABLE.

You might say that when you don’t buy drugs or other illegal stuff, you don’t need to worry.

But that is just one angle how to look at this.

In my opinion, this isn’t about buying or not buying illegal stuff. This is about PRIVACY.

No central authority should ever have the right to know what and when we buy and how we live.

This is why CASH IS AND WILL BE SO IMPORTANT.

贪欲毒害心灵 /Tānyù dúhài xīnlíng/  GREED POISONS SOUL(S).

Chineseffect is primarily a language learning tool. But sometimes I feel the need to use its reach to communicate important messages.

Like this one: GREED POISONS SOUL

I was inspired to make this visual by a perfect industrial track VICTIMS OF A CLOWN by Ministry.

Current economic system is based on GREED.

We are being taught that we all are under the inner control of this egoistic power.

Why are we taught this? Because this ideology of greed as a core human power justifies actions of super-wealthy minority – and at the same time it destroys everything around us  – starting with relationships and communities, ending with our nature environment.

The only hope for mankind is in redefining our philosophy.

LEARN WORDS IN PRACTICAL SENTENCES

LEARN WORDS IN PRACTICAL SENTENCES

DON’T LEARN ISOLATED WORDS

This advice is based on my experience of both – a language student and a language teacher.

To learn isolated words is usually a waste of your time.

Why?

Our brain has to go through tons of informations and when it decides during our sleep what informations to keep and what informations to throw away, it distinguishes if the information is or isn’t connected to something. The more connected to something else, the more relevant, the more likely to be remembered.

When you learn a word in a sentence, you create a connection to other words and to some situation (and as a side effect you get used to grammatical structures.)

From my experience – every time I want to help my students with recalling particular word, I remind them of the sentence where they encountered it. It always helps.

That’s why there are about 2000 useful sentences with TOP QUALITY AUDIO on chineseffect.com.
